By Yusuf Razak Dhanani : Before technology became a part of restaurants, guests would come to a restaurant, sit wherever there was a free table, order food, the waiter would take down the order on a notepad, serve food, guest would eat, pay and leave. But now, with technology, the guest's experience is as completely changed as that of chefs, servers and owners, due to a change in technology in the kitchen. Now, with modern kitchen display screens and staffing technology, you can get data-centric insights into what's working well for your restaurant and what's not. This is where technology is making its big impact in the restaurant industry--how guests dine and what pleases them and what doesn't.

The good news is that the future of the Indian hotel
industry in no way looks bleak rather it has a sunny side up. This is because
the Indian economy has opened up to the global economy, which in turn is
creating more number of business opportunities. The result is that more people
are traveling to the country and so hotels are required in more numbers to meet
the growing number of travelers.
Moreover, in recent times the growth in economy has brought
about considerable increase in the disposable income. The consequence is that
people are taking more vacations. At the same time, the taste among people with
regards to the kind of hotels has drastically changed. Today, people do not
think much about the price tag; rather they are more focused on the kind of
facilities that is offered by the hotel.
At the same time the tourism ministry of India is putting in
enough initiative to promote the Indian hotel industry. However, that is not
the end of the story. A lot remains to be done on part of the Indian hotels.
With the change in the kind of tourists visiting the country, the hotels should
try to offer world-class facilities to guests’ at the most reasonable price.
When in a hotel, the guests should get the feeling that they
are in a home that is away from home. Last but not the least, there should not
be any kind of compromise on the part of safety and security.
Interesting insights! Thanks for sharing.
